Excellently appointed clean, warm house Positive: The house was in an ideal location for us to visit family and for accessing the city. Clean, warm and all the basics needed for a short stay Negative: Near a main road but this didn't disturb us too much. No other negatives

Nice owner, great pool, small and noisy, expensive house Positive: Extremely friendly owner who was always there for questions and provided tipps what to do in Portland. She contacted us whenever she would be around and offered help. Great pool with lots of equipment and wonderful garden. Big table for eating as a big group. Great shower! Negative: Rooms and house are really small and extremely noisy, as the house is situated right next to large roads. Everything in the house smells a bit, so the owners have airwick gadgets up- and downstairs. Worst of all, we found the price extremely high - compared to our following holiday home which is twice as big, extremely clean and new and right by the beach at Cape Cop and only half the price. Anyway, we knew the price before booking - in our case we had no other option because of late booking.
